About the house

Four apartments. One house.

The Appartementhaus at the Gafalhof is a modern build — plenty of pale wood, large windows and comfortable fittings. Modern living on the Sonnenplateau.

The Appartementhaus sits quietly and idyllically on the Sonnenplateau of Going am Wilden Kaiser — surrounded by meadows and woodland. The direct view of the Kaiser is striking from every apartment. In summer our youngest guests look forward to the farm animals: cows, calves, our ponies Fini und Max, rabbits and goats to stroke.

The apartments are an ideal starting point for walks and bike rides around the Wilder Kaiser. For a cool dip there is the natural Badesee Going at the foot of the Kaiser — Tyrol’s loveliest natural bathing lake, with the longest open-air slide. Mild summer evenings end best over the barbecue at our garden house.

In winter you set off straight onto the cross-country trail outside our door — or take the ski taxi for a sunny day on the slopes in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser–Brixental. Toboggan down the Astberg or visit the ice rink in Going. To unwind, there is our welcoming sauna with infrared cabin.

Questions about staying with us

Frequently asked questions

How big are the apartments in the Appartementhaus?

All four apartments are about 100 m² and sleep 2 to 6 people (7–8 on request). Each has two bedrooms, a large bright living room with a dining corner, two bathrooms plus a separate WC — and a very large balcony or a terrace looking straight at the Wilder Kaiser.

What is the difference between the four apartments?

All four are the same size (about 100 m²) and fitted out identically. The difference is where they sit: Top 1 and Top 2 on the ground floor have a terrace opening straight onto the garden and a seat facing the courtyard — ideal for families with small children. Top 3 and Top 4 on the first floor have a large balcony facing the Wilder Kaiser, a further seating area towards the courtyard, and the open exposed roof beams as their highlight.

How is the kitchen equipped?

Every apartment has a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, plus enough crockery, pans and cutlery for six — everything you need for a longer stay.

Where do six people sleep?

The two bedrooms sleep four. The living and dining area has additional sleeping places (sofa bed). That way up to six people fit comfortably — ideal for two families or several generations travelling together.

What technology is in the apartment?

You are well looked after: free Wi-Fi throughout, and smart TVs with streaming in the living room and the bedrooms.

Are bed linen and towels included?

Yes, bed and table linen and towels are included in every apartment and freshly made up before you arrive.

What does the final cleaning cost?

€ 160,– per stay, regardless of how long you stay.

What does a stay cost, and are there children’s rates?

Prices vary by season and number of guests — from about € 160,– a night for 2 people in low season to € 390,– a night for 6 people at Christmas. Children’s rates are agreed individually on request. Current availability and prices are in the booking system, or just ask.
