At the Gafalhof in Going am Wilden Kaiser you stay where the mountains begin at the door. A working farm in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alpen — with cows, calves and three houses in which families, food lovers and anyone who likes being outdoors feel at home. From the view out of the window to the sauna in the evening: here the mountain is not somewhere you drive out to, it is where the day begins.

04 · The residents
Our farm family. Come and meet them.
We, Stefan and Anja Unterlechner, run the Gafalhof together with our children — it is our home at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. We share the farm with a good many animals: the ponies Fini and Maxi, Fritzi the rabbit, the guinea pigs Strubbelpeter and Pauli, Rudi the pig, a few hens and of course the cows and calves, who are always pleased when someone visits the barn. We look after the barn, the farm and our guests ourselves — and we make sure nothing ever feels rushed. Good to have you here.

Right at the Wilder Kaiser.
The Gafalhof stands on the Schwendterweg in Going, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. The Astberg valley station of the SkiWelt is 3 minutes away by car, and in summer a walking path starts at the farm itself.
